M38W

Triangular Tower 3 x 0,38 m

Our most "common" tower in production the M38W has had the former designation "Vargarda Standard Tower" being manufactured and sold since the 1970’ies. Still looking like the earliest ones the M38W has a total delivered length of almost 100 kilometres at this date.

No wonder we have been calling it our standard don’t you think? The very construction is as simple as genius. Low weight, widely framed and at the same time very strong.

Due to the large amount of requests during the past 30 years the M38W has gotten involved in a long series of different applications where the demands have been strength combined with the low mass.

This tower consists of three different parts that differ on just a few points, the Top Section, Middle Section and Lower Section.

The Top and Middle sections normally have ladder steps on one side while the Lower Section does not.

The Top section is normally supplied with a top plate having a tubing let through for an outer diameter of 50mm’s as well as a mounting plate about 750 mm’s lower.

The Lower Section has hinges attached to the foot part which in turn is attached to the underlaying surface by three heavy bolts.

As available in a kit form a complete tower travels around the world occupying extremely small amount of space in an aeroplane or anywhere else leaving lots of extra space to your equipment going in the same transport.
Carrying a complete tower as a kit results in less exhaustion and more power left to deal with other equipment.
Accompanying assembly instruction is very straight forward and well equipped with pictures leaving no questions without an answer.
Please read this assembly instruction example of a middle section without ladders.
Towers allready filled at top positon may house more turnable antenna mounts along tower sides. This side mount manage up to 30 kgs of antenna or other equipment for a full 270 degree rotation.
